Storage

Many of Motion Classics frequent clients, as avid car collectors, occasionally get their hands on a few more cars than they can comfortably maintain and fit in their garages.  Such vehicles are highly neglected, or even worse - subject to weather the elements and lose their value, paint quality, and functionality daily. Even vehicles stored indoors are subject to degradation of paint, mechanical function failures, stagnation of fluids including gasoline, or prone to accident. We have seen more times than you'd believe a critter will sneak its way into a garage kept vehicle and create a home or worse - create an irreversible odor!

Folks, don't let your extra car, old family car, car with sentimental value, or collector car take this kind of abuse! Stop the madness and let us take immaculate care of your vehicle. We offer full time storage, maintenance, and routine detailing all in one. We start by fully detailing your vehicle, then we safely store it in our protected indoor warehouse facility where it will be out of harm's way and constantly monitored. We periodically supply a 'trickle charge' to the battery, offer any mechanical maintenance needed, routine cleaning and touch ups, as well as 5-10 mile every 90 days to ensure all systems are functioning properly. Save yourself the headache and free up your space to utilize for something else. Most often storage is (depending on vehicle size) about $300 a month. Factor the TLC put into your vehicle to maintain its value plus the square footage in your garage you'll free up and for most this monthly investment is more than offset.

Consignment

When you consign your vehicle with us, we manage the sales transaction in its entirety: the vehicle is detailed, listed for sale and sold at a fair market value. The benefits of a consignment include a reduction in your personal exposure to liability as a seller, eliminate the hassle of dealing with inquiries (no strangers calling or coming over to your home to see the vehicle) and we manage the paperwork and collection of the funds. We continuously seek high quality vehicles for our clients and enjoy pairing buyers with the right car. We only consign vehicles that have clean titles. Detailing

Detailing is generally broken down into two categories; exterior and interior. There are different products and services that focus on these two areas specifically.

Exterior detailing involves cleaning, restoring or exceeding the original condition of the surface of the car's finish, trim, windows, wheels, tires as well as other visible components on the exterior of a vehicle. A wide array of products and techniques are used to do this based on the surface type and condition. Products include, but are not limited to, detergents and acid free degreasers (to break down dirt and soil), detail clay (to remove embedded contaminates), waxes and polishes (to resurface and then improve reflectivity), as well as a variety of applicators, brushes, and drying towels.

Interior detailing involves a thorough cleaning and treatment of the vehicle's inner trimwork. Automobile interiors of the last 50 years have a variety of materials used inside the cabin such as synthetic carpet upholstery, vinyl, leather, various natural fibers, carbon fiber composites, plastics, and others. Specialized products and techniques are used to care for each material properly. Vacuuming is standard; steam cleaning with liquid and foam chemicals and brushes may be used to remove stains on upholstery while nonporous surfaces may be polished.
